My Story
My story is about finding light in the darkness, rising again and again, and discovering strength through doing what I love — even when life sets limits.
I have a background in special education and graduated from the Norwegian Police University College. For many years, I worked as an investigator in the police, including public order, investigations, and document examination. One of the highlights of my career was contributing to a major international drug smuggling investigation connected to Moss Airport Rygge.
Several years ago, my life changed dramatically when I became seriously ill and bedridden for two years. After a long search for answers, I was diagnosed with POTS syndrome, a disorder affecting the autonomic nervous system. Despite enormous challenges, I continued fighting for my health and eventually underwent a groundbreaking operation in Barcelona that changed my life.
Today, my journey inspires my work in health, wellness, and helping others find hope, strength, and balance in their own lives.
I have worked as a model for several photographers and have been a life model for sculptor Bruce Naigles. My Sculpture in full figure, is called Sleeping Venus. I am incredibly grateful for the collaboration and friendship with all the talented photographers I have worked with.
Life with POTS
I struggle with POTS every single day and must take many considerations based on my health. But photography and modeling interest is something I can oursue when my body allows it. I am a fighetr who has survived the unthinkable and I continue to live- on my own terms.
Through this site I wish to share the images that have been created in collaboration with skilled photografers. Each image represents a good day, a moment of mastery, and a proof that life can be beautiful-even with all its challenges.
Welcome to my website!
-With love Marianne.
